Monroe Fluid Technology is taking steps to reduce our carbon footprint and enhance our Sustainability Program.
You will notice these changes soon as we introduce the use of White Steel Drums and Reconditioned drums for many of our products. Drum supply is very tight right now, and the custom red drum we have used requires more paint in the production of the drum, and then in the reconditioning process. Our goal is to eventually phase into all reconditioned drums which will significantly help reduce our carbon footprint by reusing drums until the useful life expires and then the steel can be recycled for other uses.
We are also exploring more sustainable packaging options for our pails. You will begin to see these changes soon, the products inside will be the same high quality you have come to expect from us and contribute to our goal of being good environmental stewards.
