Supporting our Students and the Future of Metalworking with Free Coolants

Monroe Fluid Technology EDU

Hilton, NY— Monroe Fluid Technology has just launched a new initiative, Monroe Fluid Technology EDU, as a component of the company’s sustainability efforts.

“Supporting our students and trade schools is a top priority, as education is a component of sustainability” Fred Kane, Dir. of e-Commerce. “The program offers free coolant, free shipping and free coolant maintenance workshops. The EDU program will allow our trade/manufacturing programs to eliminate the costs of metalworking coolants. The schools can focus budget dollars on other necessary consumable goods and services.”

Monroe Fluid Technology has over 65 years in the metalworking fluids industry, beginning in 1958 with the introduction of Cool Tool Cutting & Tapping Fluid. Since that modest beginning, Monroe Fluid has expanded into a full line producer of MWF’s, along with offering private label and toll blending capabilities. The ISO 9001 certified facility is located just west of Rochester, NY in the town of Hilton.

“We are excited to offer our expertise, our people and our products to support the next generation coming into the metalworking trades,” said Alan Christodaro, CEO, “Assisting educational institutions, and their programs will have a positive impact on the industry and more importantly, support the men and women coming into our vital industry.”
